Several counties have customized their own training materials to ensure staff from both CalWORKs and child welfare services learn about Linkages together. Once Linkages is fully implemented, creating a permanent curriculum that can be incorporated into the Core training received by all new employees helps integrate Linkages into an agency’s practice model.

All Family Reunification and CalWORKs staff in Orange County received joint Linkages training on coordinating services for their mutual clients.

Sonoma County has developed a “meet and greet” exercise Sonoma Speed Dating Exercise/Meet and Greet Between Programs  to help staff from each program get to know about each other’s services.
