Amanda Sharp

Mandy’s career has one common theme –  strengthening families. More than 25 years ago she started a consulting firm and worked as a workforce development and technology training consultant and business owner in the Midwest. In 1999, she moved to Texas and later to Oregon taking positions in technology and training departments at colleges, WIOA and economic development agencies. Since 2010, Mandy has worked in Social Services becoming Director of Social Services in Tehama County.  In 2011, Mandy earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Chico. Since 2018, she has held the position of Deputy Director of Health and Human Services for Placer County. She is known for innovation, community partnerships and strategic planning and has targeted the issues of hunger, homelessness and poverty as well as family support, adult services and employment during her career in California.
