Building the APS Workforce: Insights from the NAPSA Conference
The CFPIC Adults & Aging team was honored to attend the Annual NAPSA Conference in Bellevue, WA, where APS professionals from across the nation came together to share insights, strategies, and inspiration. From thought-provoking workshops to powerful examples of collaboration, the conference highlighted the importance of equipping the APS workforce to meet the growing needs of our aging and adult communities.
In partnership with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), the County Welfare Directors Association (CWDA), the Adult Services Training Academy (ASTA), and many others, CFPIC is working to strengthen the Adult Services workforce and create spaces for agencies to collaborate and learn from one another. With elder abuse reports on the rise, these partnerships and innovations are more important than ever in helping public Human Services agencies protect and empower vulnerable adults across California.
