Capacity Building & System Integration (CBSI)
CBSI activates CFPIC’s vision to support AB 2083 Children, Youth & Families System of Care (CYFSOC) leadership by helping them advance their partnerships across all child and family serving systems, at every level. The goals of CBSI are to enhance the care continuum for children and youth, and particularly those with complex care needs and who are involved in multiple systems. CBSI success will not only ensure that youth involved in multiple systems receive the robust support they need, but it will also enhance the capacity of interagency AB 2083 CYFSOC teams to support all children and youth, no matter the point at which those families are engaged.
Complex Care Capacity Building Grant (CCCBG)
In partnership with CWDA, the CCCBG provides technical assistance and implementation support to county AB 2083 CYFSOC teams as they build capacity for specialized models of care for foster youth or those at risk of foster care, with acute, unmet needs. Through the grant, CFPIC helps local systems of care develop a continuum of specialized programming for children and youth with complex needs that leverages current and new funding opportunities.
