Danna Fabella is the Associate Director of CFPIC.  She began working as a consultant for CFPIC in 2007.  Danna spent 29-years in county human services, primarily in Child Welfare Services, where she began as a social worker and eventually became a Child Welfare Director and Acting Human Services Director.  Danna’s experience includes three Bay Area Counties where, in addition to Child Welfare, she also was directed Adult Services and the GAIN Employment Program.  Since beginning with CFPIC, Danna has directed the CalWORKs & Child Welfare Collaboration (Linkages) and has provided leadership in a number of initiatives, including the development of the California Child Welfare Core Practice Model and the Child and Family Enrichment Cabinet.  She has also provided leadership to the facilitation and planning for many state & county collaborative activities in the implementation of the Continuum of Care Reform initiative, with an emphasis on Resource Family Approval and CANs/CFT implementation.  She spends much of her spare time with her five grandchildren and walking the beach at her Bodega Bay home.
