Kris K. Brown

Kris received her Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino, in 1999. She first began working with older adults as a nurse’s aide in a convalescent home while in High School, and worked as a case manager for a private professional conservator from 1992-1999, when she entered the public sector as an Adult Protective Services (APS) social worker in San Bernardino county. This led to Supervisory roles in both Aging and Adult Services and Child Welfare, followed by a period as the Program Manager for Employment and Training Services in Kings County. Since 2009, she has served as Deputy Director of Aging and Disability Programs for Napa County’s Health and Human Services Agency, as the senior manager for the Comprehensive Services for Older Adults (CSOA) division. CSOA provides a wide range of services to the aged and disabled community, including In Home Supportive Services (IHSS), APS, MediCal, Older Adult Mental Health, Public Health Nursing, Veterans Services, and Public Guardian.
