Melissa Connelly is an Associate Director of CFPIC.  Over a 25 year career in child welfare, Melissa has served as a front-line worker, supervisor, manager, and program director in county agencies.  In addition to county work, Melissa has experience in training and workforce development as a curriculum specialist and director of the In-Service Training Project at CalSWEC.  Melissa is devoted to facilitating system improvement in support of strengthening families, communities, and the child welfare workforce to prevent child maltreatment, reduce system-driven trauma, and promote equity.  Melissa and her family enjoy road trips, hiking, and other fun family adventures.
