I am a seventeen-year-old foster youth from Sacramento County. I have almost a decade of lived experience in the foster care system and am eager to share and use my lived experience to best serve the purpose of advocacy. My goal is to use my understanding of the experiences that many foster youth likely have to better elicit empathy and foster a more open channel of communication between the system and its constituents.
