Linkages

Linkages is a collaboration between CalWORKs and Child Welfare to serve families who are involved with Child Welfare or at risk of future involvement. 

Citizen Review Panels

Allow parents, former foster youth, foster parents, and others to contribute to improving the Child Welfare system. 

Youth Engagement Project

Current or former foster youth who engage in local projects to improve Child Welfare policies, programs and practices. 

Capacity Building & System Integration

Helps county cross-system teams access training, technical assistance, and implementation tools.

California Child Welfare Core Practice Model

Guides Child Welfare practice, service delivery, and decision-making. 

Prevention

Works to prevent child maltreatment by supporting Comprehensive Prevention Plan implementation.

Preventing & Addressing Child Trafficking

Works to implement a statewide cross-coordination model to address child trafficking.

New Child Welfare Directors

Supports recently appointed county Child Welfare agency directors in California.

Adults
Program

Works with public human services agencies to support their efforts to meet the growing needs of vulnerable adults in California.
